Many students take up part-time jobs, often working at supermarkets or fast-food outlets. At the age of 15 though, Nick decided he didn't want anything quite so mundane, so he decided to set up his own website design business. Nick has been building websites since the late 1990s - his first set up using Microsoft Creative Writer, and a free website account. That one, complete with the usual tacky backgrounds and annoying MIDI sound files, no longer exists sadly, but many of the other (hopefully better) productions he's been involved with over the years still do, including those which you can access through the Hightown Design portfolio.

You can find out more about Nick at his personal website, NickFord.com.au.
